I don't get your point? Can I be a sex worker in the Sims dreaming to pay her debts and make money while studying in a university but suddenly got entangled with a criminal client she had business with and got caught by her boyfriend cop? I don't think so.

I would probably play the next GTA despite of it having or not having a female or homosexual character. However, it would be interesting to see how well would a homosexual protagonist would be written, especially if they aim to surpass GTA IV story-wise. But I'd have my doubts like many people.

But the outcry on the social media would be insane, unfortunately. Some kids and adults alike would outright refuse to buy the game because it has an homosexual protagonist, even if there's a SWITCH option that lets you play as three different characters. I am actually picturing what gamers and their mothers would say to slander this kind of decision. I would be interested to see what would be the outcome on the game for such a sudden switch.

Well, if it fits into the story they want to tell, then sure why not. I just feel like it's kinda condescending to those groups of people if you're doing it just for the sake of doing it. Of course, they could have a homosexual protagonist and just not draw any additional attention to it, which could be a nice way to approach it.

Strippers are already incorporated in GTA you know. Women also makes great spies. Rockstar only needs to further develop the characters beyond that of a piece of meat and we have a good story better than twilight must say 100%. GTAV wasn't even great. Lol

Women are capable of doing what the male GTAV protagonists are doing good or bad. I don't see any reason for exclusivity when a solid story and gameplay is all I need for my GTA fix.
