If it makes sense with an overall story they're presenting and serves a purpose, im down, if its just shoe horned in just for virtue signaling just to do it, then no thanks.

I think they should make the protagonists have whatever characteristics they want. As others have said, I don't want anything to be shoehorned in. I want them to make the best game they can. If a gay character is the way they need to go to achieve that end, that's great. Alternatively, if every character in the game needs to be a straight, white, Christian male, that's fine too. Devs just need to worry about making great games, period.

I generally prefer male characters as i like to project myself into the roles and characters i play. Having said that i had no problems with play Aloy in H:ZD so meh.

I do question what will happen if thia is done though. If the main character is gay or female and goes around killing, robbing and torturing people, i am sure someone will complain about it being discrimination. I remember criticism of the film Gone Girl because the villain was a woman.

The argument that people need to be represented in video games/movies/art or else they will have issues is garbage.

People do not need to feel represented in any medium, it is the jobs of parents to teach their kids that such things are irrelevant.

Hardly any person in this thread said there was anything wrong with being gay. The general consensus is its wrong to stick in a gay character for the sake of it. People need to stop pushing these agendas because after gay people have found acceptance a small minority of LGBT are ruining all that work for their own attention seeking needs and turning parts of society back against gay people. 

As I said before of they want to do it its up to them, id still play it but if they do it at social gunpoint with no regard to artistic vision it not only will hurt the game but also makes people ever more bitter towards LGBT activists. At least 50 million people will play GTA6 if not more, having their favourite franchise ruined by diversity quotas helps no one in any way at all.

i did not ask if there is anything wrong with being gay... i am asking what is wrong having a gay character in a video game? the general consensus that assume that gay character is just gay for the sake of it and pushing the agenda of blah blah blah... did they read the script yet of gta 6 to assume it is the case? was there any much cases to begin with?
