It looks like the PS4 will fall behind its 2017 performance after June, but can make up for it on September. I think Spiderman will help the PS4 achieve its 2nd best September and RDR2 will also give a huge boost in October.

Labo failed to gain traction at all. It did alright (presumably) software-wise, but it didn't push hardware.

May should be a lot better. There were a decent chunk of releases this month. A lot of physical releases of indie games, that is, and a few ports of existing titles. Still better than April though, by a landslide.

Interesting look at how well the PS4 hardware and software is performing:

• PS4 software set an all-time record in April dollar sales. Previous holder was the 360 in April 2008.
• God of War achieved highest ever launch month dollar sales for a title exclusively launched on a Playstation platform. That probably includes both 1st and 3rd party exclusives.
• MLB 18 is the second-best selling exclusive to date, trailing God of War.
• PS4 had the highest April unit sales since the Wii in April 2009 and the highest April dollar sales since the Wii in April 2008.

Mlb second month at #3. That's a huge result. Yakuza for the 4th best selling ps4 game. Excellent. God of war in beast mode. April was the perfect month.

Yep God of War is confirmed over GTA SA, which sold 2.06m in October 2004.
