Whats wrong with the Sixaxis, aside from the lack of rumble?


The motion controls were a bit useless. After a while I liked shooting arrows in Heavenly Sword but mostly they were used in the most annoying way possible. I HATE shaking my controller around I think the classic dual analog controllers are pretty much perfect for many gametypes and I do not want a workout or look like a bar mixer on speed trying to get rid of a facesucker or whatever.

I don't doubt they are working on something, though I guess the rumors have moved on from them developing it for the PS2.

Motion sensing controller existed for a long time in different froms from the 90s in Acrcade games.

 Actually nintendo was sued by a comapny who has the patent on motion controller and they settled it with each other.

 

to sum it up,,no nintendo did not create the motion sensing technology,,they just used it first

 



 

 

 

If this is true, why!?! Why can't we just have a separate console for both? I want to keep my traditional controllers in addition to the Wiimote. ;_;



This is another example of Sony stealing ideas from Microsoft and their innovative Xmote.

Motion control in Motorstorm is harder, but its so much fun for me. I can actually win in most of the races (up until some of the really hard lv 4 ones). If Wipeout uses the controls better, maybe I'll check it out.

As far as i know they never setlled and you are talking wishful thinking here to descredit the Wii and Nintendo i favor for your precious Sony, I could be wrong and would gladly admit it if you prove you are right.

There are three reasons to get a PS 3 for me (wow that rhimes) MGS, Tekken and Wipeout and if Wipeout were controlled with motion that would be almost as awesome as when Nintendo delivered the Wii IMO.

I said it once and I'll say it again: Most games are poor enough when made for the Wii and it's controls, I can't imagine how useless this will be while an afterthought for developpers.
