Huh. This is unexpected, and even more so when you consider the release date.
Fun fact: According to Wikipedia, the game was already announced in 2010 with a release date in 2012, and then cancelled in 2012.
It'd be nice to see it return to it's hardcore roots. But if it's aiming for console release, it'll be turned down in various ways. I don't expect them making this to push PC hardware.

But with the exception of Square-Enix we are seeing publishers moving away from announcing games early more and more.
Stalker is one of the best PC games i've ever played can't wait for this one
