So I have a launch PS4, and since God of War came out I was joking about how I was going to get a PS4 Pro...to ya know...mess with my wife's head.

I can afford it, but had made up my mind not to spend 400 on a console that I would eventually replace with a PS5...whenever it comes out (bear in mind I have a 4k TV).

So I upgraded her wedding ring as a mother's day present because the one we got on for our wedding was a budget ring.  We went to pick it up after she got it sized and she went in while I sat in the truck with the kids.  Low and behold after 15 min waiting, she comes walking out with a PS4 Pro in a gamestop bag.

She said, "I got tired of hearing you talk about it, you can return it if you want."

Well needless to say, I am not playing these games.  She made her bed and now I have to keep this thing to teach her a lesson.  So the moral of the story is this...

be careful about what you joke about, because your significant other could put you 400 bucks in the hole leaving you with little choice other than to accept or appear soft as you play into her mind games.

Sell the old model :) the quilt will lessen.

I will probably give the old one to my son for his birthday.  He has an X1, but this would give him access to a lot more games than before as now he can play all the PS4 games I have gotten over the years lol.
