Not sure it's only France anymore, Italy and especially Spain seem to have embraced the Switch extremely well. Their markets are smaller than the french one, but not by that much.

Okay then.

Labo Variety is 6th in its 2nd week in Italy: http://www.aesvi.it/cms/charts.php?dir_pk=206

Labo Variety was the 5th best selling Switch game in April (it didn't make top 10 all-platform) in Spain: http://www.aevi.org.es/la-industria-del-videojuego/los-videojuegos-mas-vendidos/2018/4/switch/

Should of course be mentioned that Variety is the only Labo SKU charting anywhere. The robot SKU is nowhere to be found. Don't think it can be argued that the Labo Robot Kit is bombing hard everywhere.

6th in the 2nd week doesnt sound bad, neither does 5th best selling Switch game when it only had a couple days of tracking for the month.

And ya Robot is doing much worse, as expected.

Agreed. Those are not bad. They're just not nearly as impressive as France. I think some people see Amazon performance in Spain and Italy and think that Nintendo is doing just as well as Amazon indicates. They don't realize that Amazon is just one online retailer and that Nintendo is still trailing far behind Sony in both those countries. France is by far and away the best country for Nintendo in Europe.

Oh yeah, France is definitely the most pro Nintendo country in Europe. I believe these are the end of 2017 sales we got for Switch.

France-900k

UK-700k

Germany-650k

Spain/Italy-300k each

Except it's 6th behind a game that released ~7 months ago, so the numbers themselves must be dreadful for that week.

As for Spain, again, we're comparing it to games that have been out for months on the system. And only the Switch. It failed to chart among all platforms. Not a great showing.

Oh wow, it's amazing how they can make all those musical instruments just with Nintendo Switches and some cardboard pieces.

Also, she sounded sooooooooooo amazing <3

Why all the arguing about Labo. It is a low risk side venture that could have exploded or bombed hard. It did neither and has sold ok so far if not spectacular. Im sure Nintendo would like to do better hence a bit of marketing. Remember Labo was only revealed via a small trailer and Nintendo didn't even deem it direct worthy.

You are very right.

I think people are just blowing things out of proportion because they feel they need something to ridicule.

And some need to claim that Nintendo are going bankrupt any chance they get. I even saw someone calling it "Nintendo's Kinect" which is just misunderstanding the thing on multiple levels.
