I trust Retro to make a good game out of this concept, but that’s pretty disappointing after 4 years of waiting for their next project...

As much as I trust Retro to create an incredibly polished and fun game, I hope that this is NOT true! I highly doubt they would be so secretive over the past 4 years for a StarFox racing game.....If true, I'd rather they create a base StarFox game to get that series back on track, but a racing game? I'd rather take F-Zero!!!!

Heard some talk about this possibly being made by a side team at Retro and not the 'main' team.



The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Seriously, they should be making cool stuff like Eternal Darkness 2, a long-awaited sequel to Donkey Kong 64, a Metroid/Bayonetta cross over or something entirely new. Not racing games! Sure, some of my worries may stem from my general dislike for racing games (Mario Kart excluded) but c'mon!

And why make a Star Fox racing game when there's F-Zero? Just use F-Zero, dang it. Star Fox doesn't need a racing game, it needs a new main entry that doesn't suck. Fix that first, then you can talk about potential spin-offs (I know, this project, assuming it exists, may have been greenlit before Star Fox Zero was released. But still...).

I'm surprised by how many people expected to see Retro Studios working on a new mature IP! This does not sell at the level of other Nintendo IPs and I do not see Nintendo taking the risk of making a new one! We had to wait more than 10 years for Metroid Prime 4, that already says it all.

No way in hell this is real. Why make a spin-off to a game that did not perform well on Wii U when you already have a dedicated futuristic racing IP in F-Zero.

I'm expecting that this leak is so fake that we are going to end up getting F-Zero from Retro instead of this BS.
