So does this push back a potential release of a N64 or GB mini?

Not necessarily, NES/SNES are getting restocks starting in June so perhaps they hope to fulfill most of the demand over the Summer then release N64 or GB in the Fall.

I did pass on both NES and SNES Mini hardware but if Nintendo ever releases an N64 Mini, I might just give in and get it... Assuming there are enough units in stores so that scalpers don't beat me to it. And I would never buy from them no matter what, it's the MSRP or it's nothing, I am very adamant on this.

Nintendo will have some swollen pockets this fall/holiday if all 3 classics are available, plus whatever 2DSXL bundle and/or special edition they release, plus Switch holiday titles and/or bundles!!

This will become the best selling console  June or July .

Plus their increasing digital sales, online service & mobile titles

I was incredibly hyped for both this and the SNES mini and tried my best to get both at launch. The nostalgia was so strong. After I couldn't get one, I slowly realized that I didn't really want to play these games again. I just wanted the feeling that I had back when I was a kid.

Now, I doubt I'd get one even if I saw one.

Any idea if they are correcting the controllers? SNES classic did a better job at this by including a 2nd controller and supplying longer cords. I'll be buying one either way as I missed it the first time.

You can use an extension cable on the controllers.

I'm more wanting the inclusion of a 2nd controller in the box but the SNES Classic controller cords were also a bit longer.

Well. Longer cables are obviously better.
When using my NES and SNES Classics though, I use an extension cable for both as both are way to short.
