I liked it..glad I watched it and it’s really not very spoilery...
Love the lighting and atmosphere. Deacon seems like a cool guy and it definitely made me want to play the game. Performance was a bit choppy sometimes, but they still got loads of time for optimisations.

Is anyone actually excited for this game? It just looks like another generic zombie TPS...
Is there something special about this game that I cannot see?

- In this game, the zombies (freakers wtv) come running after you in huge swarms, the only other zombie game I can think of where they also do this is Dead Nation, which is not open world and have a top down view. In Dead Rising there's also a lot of zombies on screen, but they are passive as hell, just standing there for most of the time waiting to be killed.

- The weather changes, and it affects the gameplay. For example, cold weather makes freakers stronger and changes your motorbike performance .

- You can both upgrade and customize your motorbike.

- You can use the swarms of freakers in your favor, by releasing them upon your enemies or attracting them.

- The freakers make nests.

- There are wolves, and they can get you off your bike.

- There are freaking zombie bears!! Ok, zombie animals aren't a new thing, big or small, but the big ones tend to be bosses or mid-bosses in other games, while in this game they are regular enemies.

I don't know about you man, but I can't think of any other zombie game that have any of these elements done in the same way as this game, even less one that have all of them.

"lupus in fabula, venit enim ad me."

Translation: I will always hate Fox for canceling The Exorcist.

The alpha footage looks pretty good. Assuming the release date is not until February, that means Bend has around 9 months to work out the kinks. I would fix the UI a bit and Deacon's running animation, especially.

I like how they said some of the infected don't just attack mindlessly, they react to you so can walk among them, but they may try something if you are weak or not paying attention. Like vultures stalking a dying prey.

Release: February 2019, i think :)

41 minutes of new footage:

In the new video, the directors said that you will have the option to turn off the XP popups in the final game.
