hoping for some of that good Classic Edition emulation. the Wii U NES emulator was kinda garbage

Not really happy about the cloud save being behind the subscription, unless that's how it normally is with other subs..? Not really crazy about the 20 NES games. Oh well, it's an evil I'll have to deal with I suppose.

Unless it's a free service similar to Steam or PSN where you can redownload your games and without having to pay for them over again, meh.

I believe cloud saving is locked behind a subscription on the other consoles as well. On the bright side, it's significantly cheaper on Switch. Also, I think 20 NES games at launch is pretty good, but I would've liked to see some SNES, N64, and Gamecube titles.

Would have been great if they added some SNES games into the mix at least ...

Though it is cheap so ... I'm gonna swallow it if I wanna be a competitive Mario Tennis Aces player :P

I'm gonna take the hit if I want to do online for any game, but at least it's a fair price for a year.

If that's the case, then I can't really pin the blame on Nintendo if it's a standard now.

And 20 games is good, but I'm just hoping they announce an actually VC where I can just buy the games I want.

I mean Splatoon 2 is one of the main Switch games I frequent, and with Smash on the way, it's a day one purchase for me.

Also, very low chance of this happening, but what are the odds that they announce more free games with the service (e.g. N64, GBA, SNES, GCN, etc.) at E3? To me the odds are slim to none, but seeing how there has never been Gamecube on the virtual console and bigger Nintendo games aren't on NES, but I could see more game reveals on different platforms at least being teased at E3.

Ya at 19.99, I am perfectly okay with this, and infact wish sony/microsoft offered barebone version like this as well.

VC probably gone. Locking ppl into a subscription model is inherently better for Nintendo in terms of making money. Maybe.

I hope that's not the case, cuz that would just really suck.
