We have the Top 50 threads in december where everyone can post their lists, but hey, I'm always up for a chance to praise Ocarina of Time and Knights of the Old Republic and some others, and luckily I know the top 10 by heart, so here goes;

10: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
9: Mario Kart 64
8: Anno 1602
7: SimCity 4
6: Rollercoaster Tycoon 2
5: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
4: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
3: Super Mario 64
2: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
1: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

The fact that Breath of the Wild actually manages to make it into the top 10 by knocking Super Mario Bros. 3 out of it speaks volumes about the game's brilliance. The other, older games all have a giant advantage; namely that they have meant something to me personally, and impacted my tastes in games and sometimes even interests and relationships in real life. Really, BotW was last year's real winner.

This was pretty hard as I had to Leave out ME1, KOTOR, OoT, DMC3, FFXII, FFVII, FFVI and many others.

6. Shadow Of The Colossus
7. The Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask

9. Super Mario Maker
10. The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past

I've had OOT at the top spot ever since I played it in 2000, and only a few years ago did I admit Okami to be a better game, and then Xenoblade Chronicles as well. And now Zelda is back at the top with BOTW!

(I also need to give some honorable mentions to Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and Super Mario Bros. 3!)

It was really hard to decide on the last two games in my top ten. There are at least 5 other titles that could have very well rounded up the top ten. On the other hand my top three games have been the same for over 15 years now.
