great achievement, but why not give us an updated number for the first two weeks as well? we know second week sales were really good too from what we have seen in EU and based on online sales. I imagine it will surpass the biggest selling GoW, the third one, which is on 5.1m, before the end of May

Considering Uncharted 4 figure is 2.7m, the shipped number for Uncharted 4 would probably be higher than 3.1m.

So yeah pretty sure this GoW figure is sell-through, Sony always use sold to consumer when announcing game sales (Uncharted 4, Horizon etc)

Making my 15 million lifetime prediction plausible. Man am I going to necrobump my prediction-thread if/when that happens!!

Maybe waiting for E3?  Would make sense to have an update there.

That's what I'm thinking. But they could mean shipped within the first few days. Uncharted sold 2.7 million in a weak, this 3.1 million in 3 days. 

Maybe they sent out a bigger patch initially than uncharted, making it the fastest selling (shipped) exclusive?

And it seems this was a beast in USA. Because in Europe this didn't manage to beat uncharted from what we know, so it seams USA and maybe other territories like in Asia it made up for it and more.

My prediction was 12-15 million, definitely falling within that range lifetime.

I still don't think it'll quite get to 15m. 10m+ seems on lock though.

Depends how front-loaded it is.

Solid numbers, Sonys first party has really stepped up this generation. Could have arguably the strongest most diverse first party now.
