I guess Labo helped the Switch to stay near 200k!

They changed GoW to a style more suited for EU market though...... so it doing better in the US might not be true anymore.

What makes the style more suited for the European market?

Sony apparently does survey's to find out what people like, and apparently Europe likes Story Focused games of a certain type.
Sony had come out and said "okay" we ll give you more of that.

I cant google and find the link, but I remember reading some marketing message some time ago, where they mentioned what types of games europeans generally like, and what in those games they like ect.

I think GoW is in a style thats more appealing to the european market than it was before.
Also Its probably doing better in Denmark/Sweden/Norway/Iceland ect.. and places where vikings settled,  cuz of the Nordic lore elements.

Necro-bump this 2020: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=229249

In my opinion, Wii U remasters/re-releases/remakes are making most of NSW sales since January.

There a millions out there that haven't played those games on the doomed Wii U.

My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+

When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

Numbers are great for Switch and PS4. Sad that the Xbox dropped below 100k

Xbox is up over 50 % on the similar week last year, it’s doing just fine.

It probably helps that Nordic lore is also popularised by Marvel. But I agree that this style is better suited to the European market than the traditional games. Although those where great as well.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

Doing Better than last Year and doing Just fine are two different things

Huh. That was disappointing for the ps4. I am wondering if there will be a bigger bump for ps4 the following week instead.
