When enough people on the right start to overreach to the point where their entire side looks like extremists again, people will flock back to the left.  2 years isn't enough time to declare one side as doomed.  It's just current trends influencing peoples' answers.

If the media did their job properly people would already flock back to the left. I'd consider the current president and his cabinet quite extreme but the media just continues to make a fool out of itself instead of focusing on the sinister shit that's actually going on and has been going on since the election.

You mean lower taxes for every American, lowering unemployment - inclusive of minorities, ISIS diminishing, North Korea quelling nuclear war, stopping many international human traffickers, and finally doing something about illegal immigration?  That kind of ‘sinister shit’?

This is going to be an interesting read of a thread (if it isn't already).

My two cents:
(1) The (R)s still have work to do in positioning themselves as civil nationalists (i.e. citizenism instead of whatever trite they're pushing to suck up to the rich 1% who vote (D) in actions anyway)
(2) I'd also like to see Asian-American numbers on this. Ought to be interesting given that they're a rapidly growing segment of the American population.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Thanks for promptly proving how much of a shitty job the media does in educating the people.

Hence why CNN has earned the ‘fake news’ moniker.

Don't worry, I never assumed you consume unbiased media anyway.

Who do you consider unbiased in today’s media?

The media is doing a bad job, but not for the reasons you think. Normally, they should help defuse tensions, not polarize everything even more. When they do, they drive people from one side to the other.

Rule of thumb seems to be the GOP is a bad party, and so far, Donald Trump hasn't done anything most Republican politicians haven't tried their luck at besides being more open...

The media's job is not to defuse tensions. They're not diplomats. Their job is to report what's happening. And if shit hits the fan and things start to escalate it's their job to report that too. Which is what they don't do right now because they focus on trite shit, which actually takes focus away from escalating issues.

It's the media's job to put appropriate weight on topics and not treat criminal investigations into politicians with the same weight of a Kardashian breaking a finger nail or a president getting an extra scoop of ice.

Thats shift, along with brexit and trump and the increase of right wing parties around the world is an answer to the craziness introduced by sjw. And the only place people can really show their opinions in inside the voting booth.
You are against uncontrolled open wide immigration of millions? Better just stay quiet to not be called a nazi, and express your opinion at the booth. Its happenning in Brazil also.

It's amazing that young white men will switch parties just to placate their ego. Changing a party doesn't change the facts.

which facts are you referring to?
