Actually minorities are being given ladders while white men are having their legs chopped off. Minorities have legitimate issues, but they are actually being addressed, constantly (over addressed in fact). White mens issues are unacknowledged and in fact perpetuated and amplified by the left wing in this country. We live in a society now where white men are in a free fall while minorities are in a heavy upswing with all sorts of support.

White men are in free fall? Show me some statistics, who makes up the majority of politicians, judges, police, CEO's ect. Yes white men make up the largest percentage of the population so it makes sense for them to make up a large portion of people in those positions but last I checked Congress isn't 63% white, 12% black, 16% hispanic and 9% everyone else. You're trying to equate a lack of pandering to discrimination.

Lack of pandering lol. No, there's an outright cultural war and demonization of white men in this country. The only pandering going on is towards minorities - and even there, especially minority women. Makeup of congress is pretty irrelevant here, because what we have is social persecution happening against white males on a grassroots level.

When have you been demonized? Have you been pulled over or harassed by police for being white, do white men make up a disportionate amount of drug arrests despite having similar amount of use when compared to other races, do white men make up a disportionate amount of the people killed by police, have you been bullied in school for being straight or Christian, do people wonder if you're a terrorist when you go out in public. Please tell me how you have been negativity impacted by racism in America. I'll admit that programs like affirmative action are outdated and need revision but if you legitimately think that's comparable to issues facing minorities you don't understand what real discrimination is. Just because we no longer live in a nation that puts white men ahead at birth when compared to everyone else doesn't mean you're a victim

It's funny that you have attacked white guy on the thread as other have done, but deny to accept that it happens. And from personal experience I do have seem a lot of bullying toward some people for being male, white, straight and catholic/protestant.

Probably because of all the hate on white people. They've done horrible things in the past but I think at this point we should just move on from this BS, because the sooner we stop making every issue involve race in some form the sooner we can get rid of racism imo.

Even if us whites are the gigantic victims of hate crime you claim we are, that's no excuse for voting for the personification of the Dunning-Kruger effect. I am going to stand by good old-fashioned propaganda and brainwashing - there is some perception in the US that competence at a government job has nothing to do with intelligence, integrity, hard work, or experience - it has to do with how loud and entertaining of a muppet you are.

I'd be a hypocrite and doing a HUGE disservice if I didn't point out that my own country suffered from an even WORSE form of that brand of stupidity back in the inter-war period... and we all know how catastrophic that turned out... My grandparents' generation pretty much ****ed themselves and everyone around them. On the bright side, I think the US has it in them not to fall as far down the stupid-hill and into the stupid-ditch as Germany did.

Man, for me Trump...not gonna comment directly.

My point is other: Trump is a product of your divided and binary America. You just read this forum to see that.

Let me try and give you an example to illustrate my point:
- everyone is discriminated in one way or another.
Some less, some more, some winning in the middle.
Valid points on all sides.
Either be gay, women, white male, atheists, christians, musilims, white males, african americans.
There is not 0% discrimination in each one of this cases.
And every case discrimination is done in a different way.

What happens right now in your debate:
-Republican: white males are discriminated. Fuck black and women. (add propaganda insult: snowflake)
-Democrat: Black and women are discriminated. Fuck white male and christian. (add propaganda insult: deplorable)
Binary division.

You need to get out of this loop that blocks evolution of ideas and society.
Work all in getting the balance.
There are extreme white male, feminist defenders and so on.
But there are valid arguments on both sides and you all know that.

Listen to each other and think what is right in each type of discrimitation. What that cannot happen to women and white male, for example.
Then filter what i whining on BOTH sides - there is whinning on both sides.

And start solving your differences out.
You are not enemies.
We human need to feel we are on the RIGHT SIDE.
Both are right sides. If half of you are on one side and the other half on another, you need to come together in some way to not fall into weakness.

Most of politicians are trash. On most of political parties. Your party is no different.

Listen to other side. Question the other side.
Question your side also.

In my view, America biggest and most dangerous problem is not white privilege or sjwarriors.
Those are just fuel for the fire.

And the fire is the binary division of its people.

Cheers

Its so weird to see statements like this, because I keep wondering where are white men being pushed to? They are doing very well as a whole in our country and in fact many are in power and making the laws that govern millions of people that don't even look like them. I understand Americans wanting equal opportunity seems like white men being pushed aside but its absolutely not the same thing.

Man,
maybe I didnt explained me correctly.

What I mean is there is always some kind of accusation or pointing finger. I think some white males see themselves afraid or with pointed fingers by telling them they are privileged and they reject feminism or black lives matter stuff. I think we need to be careful also to the way we speak and point the fingers with them and assuring no one is going to nullify white men identity.
Sometimes they only caricatural propaganda videos with hysterical people reclaiming that white men suck.
And that is something we need to be careful to assure is not the norm.

I think feminism and black lives matter or whatever movement that fights prejudice and privilege should exist and have a loud voice. We just need to understand each other. In some sense what I mean is that I understand that white men as me can be afraid of seeing them accused of being a crap. Sometimes that is also used to manipulation.

It is used also as manipulation of course the other way around.

We just need to be serious and talk with truth and respect and without moralisms and mocking.
And stop being so binary on your conversations.
We need to seek consensus.
There is too much propaganda around.

F. Scott Fitzgerald: "The test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time, and still retain the ability to function. One should, for example, be able to see that things are hopeless and yet be determined to make them otherwise."

It's a combination of Dems going batshit crazy over the past 8 or so years, and these men getting older, wiser, and more mature. Not to say Republicans are automatically "wiser" but I do think they're slightly closer to sane and rational, at least in the past 10 years or so.. I'm certainly no Republican but I've opened myself up to a lot more knowledge and viewpoints over the years, and have increasingly found the Dems to be just as maligned and full of shit as Repubs, sometimes even moreso.

I used to be a tried and true Democrat and hardcore liberal in my young teen years (voted Kerry and Obama in '08) but I've sort of settled to a center-left Libertarian over the course of the past 15 years (now 31 yrs old), when I gained more knowledge and started to discover my mother's dominant voice wasn't the end all be all ultimate wisdom of the universe.. Part of the reason is I've legitimately felt pushed aside, ridiculed, and shunned by my own side for not 100% following the party line by friends and family on the left, while I very rarely get shit from people on the right despite still holding mainly liberal views. Things like this make me question my side and push me farther to the right.
