None. I always do a research before I buy a game.

I regret nothing. But Persona 5 and COD WW2 were not good investments.

Hhmm, I normally try to rent AAA titles first because, truth be told, I don't wind up actually liking too many of them enough to pay full price. I mostly buy smaller games since they're cheaper. I try to do my research on them in advance, but sometimes it doesn't work out that well. Rime and Snake Pass are two fairly recent such purchases I made that I didn't enjoy very much. I could tell that those games were just put out there to make an easy buck and that there wasn't really any heart in them.

I've been really careful recently, because I want to avoid buyer's remorse as much as possible. To that end, I typically wait for sales for dubious games, or try them out first via Redbox for pennies on the dollar. I also try to purchase physical games so I can return them if necessary; digital doesn't give you the same amount of freedom.

I guess I kinda regret getting Jotun on PS4 a few weeks before it was announced for Switch. But it was on sale, and I'm more than happy to support Thunder Lotus for its great work.

Apart from that I regret buying games on sale, and then seeing them at a greater discount months later -- and I still haven't taken them out of shrink wrap

Hard to regret them when I put them on a pile to play later haha.

Vaccine Switch eshop for $10. I like the idea behind it, but it turned out more tedious than fun.

Payday 2 for switch

Isn't it free2play? Never paid for a Payday game...

edit: I just checked... Payday 1 + 2 were PS+ titles in 2013 and 2014. And later they were gifted as Steam keys.

They want 40 - 50 bucks for an old 7th gen port in 2018?
