Square Enix is going to read this post and use it as justification to release a KH 2.975 Final Ultimate HD Remix. Plus, we already know the game is a massive disappointment; it won’t feature The Nightmare Before Christmas nor The Lion King but it will have Tangled and possibly a Star Wars or Marvel world.

Let's see what E3 offers. For all we know we'll see the stinkers there.

The obvious disappointing games in 2018 are Sea of Thieves, a pretty shell of a game but still an empty one and State of Decay 2 which according to first impressions is bugged as hell, too bugged for a game that is only 3 weeks from launch.
Though you could argue those are not AAA games, I don't know.

Ocean of Scallywags. There's also a good chance of Spiderman not panning out, or at least not meeting the hype levels it has.

Shenmue III for me has pretty mild expectations. It has its core fanbase, but given the resources I think they know it won't be at same level as other AAA titles of this era. The only other thing I can think of is people who never played I and II being put off by the type of game it is.

I'm guessing Black Ops 4 because I read they cut the campaign entirely and seems like a drastic shift that will disappoint some fans.

I have very tempered expectations for Smash bros. I think more content will be placed behind extra paywalls than players will like compared to Smash 4.

Wait "Shenmue 3" and "Crackdown 3" are AAA tier?

Should they even be on this list? more like AA?

I can see BO4 being more hated than Infinite Warfare if the rumors are true. But not disappointing, The zombies mode being made by Treyarch again will most likely save the game from mass disappointment.

Crackdown 3 looks like it is going to be another Crackdown game, but better since it is newer and more polished, so I don't see how people might find it disappointing, could be just because it is an Xbox title and majority of people here are Sony leaning.
Sea of Thieves wasn't really a disappointment, it isn't even done yet, give it ten more years. The game was delivered as advertised, it wasn't overhyped and lied about like No Mans Sky, so they can't be compared in any way shape or form.

I guess it is not AAA, but I am worried that the final season of the Walking Dead will turn out to be a disappointment.
