If you believe that then it pretty much negates every other opinion stated or to be stated on topics such as these.

I cannot imagine the level of tribalism to even think that.

I hate to tell you this but that is what a foreign minister is expected to say.  Further, she's throwing Trump a bone so he doesn't rock the boat in the suddenly smooth waters.  As far as the South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is concerned, there is no harm in allowing Trump to believe he was a critical component in the impending peace treaty. But to proclaim he wasn't instrumental risks damage to relations with the US.

Don't forget that the US and China also have to sign the peace treaty....the Koreas cannot do it alone because of the armistice in 1953 was established by what would become North Korea, China and the US (representing the UN Command). An end to that armistice and a new peace treaty would require all parties to sign off on it.

Do you honestly think "Rocket Man" and "My button is bigger than your button" were the catalysts to peace on the Korean peninsula?

If you think you're fully aware of all the action items that took place to make such a statement I stick to my previous point.

Lol. Trump didn't have anything to do with this. If anything, Trump threatened it.

So who should get credit? Kim Jong-Un, Moon Jae-In and Xi Jinping. What? You think Kim Jong-Un went to Beijing three weeks ago as a social visit? China is the largest import, export and economic partner of both North AND South Korea.

Trump threatened what?

Hopefully the people of North Korea will have a brighter future. It looks like Trump's hard stance is paying off, even cnns Erin Burnett said "Just an extraordinarily evening and of course opening the door to the big question, if President Trump can truly solve this problem, that would be going down as a great president. And there's no way around that. That is the reality here".

I have always been a fan of Kim Jong Un, the chubby North Korean dictator. In his youth he was really into basketball, he attended Chicago Bulls games and he studied in the USA. He looks a lot like the younger, chubbier version of PSY. Kim Jong Un Style.

I don't see a plan.

Ideally, it would be awesome if it lead to lasting peace and if nothing really pans out, I hope that NK just chills out some.
