Current number of PS plus subscribers - 34.2 Million!

Sony forecasts 16 Million PS4s for FY2018. A three million unit decrease from the year prior.

R&D expenses rose 11% last year at gaming.

PS4 Shipments now stand at 79 Million Worldwide.

(Interesting to note that gaming was almost the single biggest focus of r&d expenditure last year).

PS4 is might be over tracked this year since Sony sold over 20 million PS4 units between the 31st of December 2016 and 31-12-2017. Unless they really over shipped the previous fiscal year it seems the PS4 is overtracked by at least half a million units. Almost a quarter billion software units sold is pretty good though.
