Nice numbers, the Switch doesn't seem to be slowing down. Are the hardware droughts over everywhere, or is there still some place without regular access to the console?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

If ARMS can crawl to 3m then it should get an in-house developed sequel.

Also, does anyone know anything about the new Nintendo president because I'm wondering what direction he's going to take the company.

That 17.79 million appears to be sold and not shipped this time going by Nintendos own wording. Is that correct? Also that would mean almost 1.3 Million undertracked on here.

I think ARMS was going to get that anyways. It's developed by the Mario Kart team.

Yeah, the last thing I think any of us want is 10+ pages of people arguing about this...again.

Why?

ARMS 1.85M, 1-2 Switch 2.29M (should be in the OP)

Total software almost 69M (68.97M). That's a lot for just the first year imo.

If we go by VGC numbers, then about 1.7M Switch and 900k 3DS in transit and in stores.

Yeah, I think a sequel is guaranteed but 3m would give it a good chance of being an EPD developed title instead of an outsourced title with a Nintendo person overseeing it like Star Fox, Metroid and others currently are.
