Forums - General Discussion - Do you enjoy cooking? Do you enjoy working out? How many times per week?

I cook every day and I bake all my own bread.

I work out 30 minutes a day 5 times a week.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I know how to cook, but dont enjoy it at all. I try to workout 3-4 times a week, I refuse to be a gym rat and do more than that.

Why do you refuse to be a Gym rat? If I had the time to go the Gym more often I would.

When I workout too often I feel burned out and don't enjoy it as much.

I don't cook.
And recently due to my job I had to go less to the gym. Around 3 days per week with an average on 1.5 hours, when normally I was there 5-6 days with an average of 2 hours.

If I didn't live with my parents (I'm 18) I'd cook every day, still I'm a decent cook, I can do half a dozzen of desserts and many first/second dishes.  There's so much stuff that I've never got the chance to try out or I'd like to cook myself to see if I can improve someone's recipe, besides the sense of accomplishment after finishing a dish and seeing someone else enjoying it is amazing. It might also be a cultural thing but, since I live in Italy, society kinda pretends you to be somewhat of a cooking expert, even if you can't cook :p

For work out I do daily exercises in-house, some gyms can be toxic for the people who attend there and I don't want to get too serious about it because I know that would only lead me to lose a lot of time, I already dropped out of sports this year since I have exams to pass and attending that was just too time consuming for me. Still I feel pretty good about my body, I could improve if I started running and I'll probably do it soon

Might need to adjust your diet/supplements.
I find working out gives me more drive, more energy, more motivation when I have the right food/supplements fueling me.

I agree both are good things to have in life if you got the time.

For me I do not.

Work 10 hours, then come home and work on my own business which at times can keep me up till 4am. so basically i am working all day lol.

Hardest thing about my workout is maintaining a calorie surplus with tons of protein. And then when I get too big the cut after is either too rapid or nonexistent.
