It is unlike Sony to have supply constraints for this long. Something doesn't add up. Also, this is about as far GoW will go in Japan. There is just no appeal in that market.

We have no way of knowing that, and I really don't think that's true. 20k is about where I expect the PS4 baseline to be but we'll find out pretty soon since it seems that the pro is now in stock everywhere online, so now just need to wait for the slim.

I say good. This product is marketed for children and Nintendo has done a great job at providing content for that young age bracket. It doesn't have to do gang busters to fulfill its purpose. I would buy it for my young children (if I had any) for sure.
Bad/meh sales all around, but I guess thats normal for the week pre Golden week.We will see how everyone fares next week.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Man hardware sales in Japan sure are dead this time of year. PS4 probably needs a price cut and Switch better have Animal Crossing or some other hit Japanese game this year.
Labo did great! 118k in Japan alone! I was expecting those kind of numbers globally! Looks like Labo is gonna be a bit bigger than I thought. No surprise that the variety kit sold far better than the robot one, the robot seems like it'd be a pretty shallow experience while the variety kit allows people to create all sorts of things. Just like a day after it came out I already saw an article about cool stuff people had made with Labo.
As expectated from God of War, it's obvious that the fanbase is in the west.

If Labo follows a similar trend than it could reach 2 million lifetime.
