Is it Week 15 or Week 16?

I'll go with 16 for now since I used 15 last week.

Here is the week 16 update in terms of the two big consoles in Japan's path to be able to reach the commonly stated (in these sales threads) estimates for 2018 sales (2 mil for PS4, 4 mil for Switch) .

Well, not much changed this week after all. Labo kept the Switch within a few thousand units of last week. The most curious thing I see is that the PS4 pro more than doubled the amount of PS4 sold. Will that trend continue?

Pretty good start for Labo variety. But dang those Switch sales. I thought they'd go at least over 40,000 with the Labo launch. And that's still over 50% of the total hardware sales? Dang. Also surprised the Robot kit did that poorly. I that that would be more popular in Japan.

Good debut by series standards for god of war. Probably around 60k with digital.

Ps4 slim only sold 4k this week. There is no doubt it's severely supply strained. I reckon Sony have a big price drop coming for e3 and/or a new model coming too. They had probably only allocated a certain number of slim shipments to Japan but the monster Hunter effect was much bigger then expected so they sold out too fast.

Is switch still supply strained? Or is demand just falling?

God of war 3 43k
God of war 46k excluding digital.

I'd guess 60k vs 43k and then better legs. Time will tell but I think God of war did decent in Japan.
