Kirby: Star Allies is the highest debut for a Kirby title, beating the previous record holder, Nightmare in Dreamland, by 90%.

Nightmare in Dreamland debuted at 267k which means Star Allies did over 500k.

That sounds a bit high. You got a source?

On ResetEra they were saying it was unit based but Mat just corrected it and said its revenue based so disregard my post.

Revenue, so you have to adjust.  Iirc, NiD was $40?  Which puts spending at 10,400,000 with 260k sold.  Add 90% to that and divide by 60 and you get 323,000.  That might not be right, but seems in the ballpark.

Kirby is over 508k since the 90% increase is Units sold

This is wrong. It's revenue not units sold. So Kirby didn't do 500k.

Yeah you're right. Just saw this tweet

pretty much what was expected. Sea of Thieves must have been a relief to Rare and MS, as the critical reception didn't merit those sales, but they got them anyway. I wonder if we will find out how much Ni No Kuni 2 did at #8. Don't think we will see a third game regardless at this point, but hopefully it did decently. And Monster Hunter sticking around is cool too

What does this quote actually mean?

"This was driven mainly by Microsoft’s Xbox One, though Sony’s PlayStation 4 remains the best-selling console in March and 2018. The Nintendo Switch 32GB with red and blue Joycon controllers was the best-selling hardware in March and 2018."

Switch sold more units or what?

1. XBO is making the most revenue mostly due to the Xbox One X

2. PS4 is the best selling console

3. The Red and Blue joycon switch console sku is the best selling bundle/sku. Doesnt mean the switch is the ebst selling console.

Xbox saw the most revenue growth, not overall.

For the year its earned the most revenue overall and has had the biggest growth.

#338 disagrees. Just talking strictly for the month of March.

Mat P also agrees here (#176):

And yes, it is up YoY thanks to the One X.

Oh for March yeah its probably PS4 leading in revenue.

Mlb putting in an mvp performance for the series.
