It's kind of strange....it only gets louder seldomly for me but title screen and map seem to be two of those occasions.

Ok, so how soon is it supposed to start failing because of this vapor cooling system? And if vapor cooling is such a lifespan killer, how come nobody is discussing this issue anywhere? I heard a million things about the Xbox One X but nothing so far about the machine dying sooner than normal due to the vapor cooling implementation. |
PC graphics cards have been using vapour cooling for ages...Never heard of long time reliability issues.

I read a long time ago that it's okay if your system is loud. You only need to worry about overheating issues when the games starts running strangely and consoles will shut down before they can be damaged by the heat.
And like you, mine is normally quiet. It only gets loud for about a minute and then it goes back to being quiet. It's just those loud moments that stand out because you don't expect them.

This. Is normal for the Pro to make the loud noise (the fan), especially for game with high resolutions like GOW. If it overheats, the white light will turn red, warning you about it. Then it will shut down itself to prevent damage.
They need to patch that Niflheim trash. All that grinding and its more annoying than fun.

Loud is very relative in this context...I have a 1200 SKU which is very silent, even when the fan gets going. I never really notice it while playing.
But you’re right, it’s no reason for concern. It’s just the system doing it’s job.

Eh. Once you get the hang of it you can easily pull a 10k run. Stick to going one direction. Just gotta upgrade your gear as you go and add the enhancements that ease the fogs kill timer.Also. do both cipher chests, if you get all chests you can get about 12.5k. |
Ohh i got the hang of it, blow through it last weekend and even plat the game, but im just saying i did not have as much fun in that rleam as with the rest of the game, feel like its missing something.
