So not as much as U4?

U4 released Tuesday, and GoW released Friday.

Amazon UK also didn't have GoW in stock for a good portion of the time.

Digital was probably big considering Amazon's stock issue.

^^ This 100% :D

Let's not start with the Tuesday Vs Friday thing again.

But that must make a difference right? I mean we're talking smaller numbers, but still got to be significant in 5-20k difference.

But personally with Amazon having no stock, I expect digital to be 40-50%.

Maybe 5-15k. But that's not a big difference.

Also we shouldn't expect digital to be higher all of a sudden because Amazon was out of stock.  There are many other retailers that deliver games other than amazon. Realistically speaking if one prefers a disk over digital they can just go buy it from the many other sites that sell them than go buy a digital code .

Unless given a solid reason or even better official word from Sony, heck maybe even a comment from someone with inside knowledge. Then we should realistically assume digital is in the regular range, which from our knowledge resides in the 20-25% range.

Well its a big difference if we are talking about 2nd best selling PS4 or third as there isn't much gap, though that UC4 gap looks pretty big.

As for digital, it was probably 10-15% digital perhaps in 2000, its been known to be around 30% for the last couple of years now and in some titles go unto 50%, thats a big difference.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

It has sold over 35% more units in its first week than the previous best, 2010's God of War III. With digital sales maybe 55 % overall better than the biggest GOW-title for ps3?

Only 35% thats really good for a second week. Normally you are looking at 50-65% I think, certainly the case when a game has sold that well first week.

So it did 3.1m first week wasn't it - well first few days? So that puts it at at least 5m+ in two weeks if that follows WW?

It had a 36% drop in Japan too.

Yeah, 3.1M in 3 days.  So, if those drops are consistent WW, it is beyond 5M already.
