Forums - Microsoft Discussion - May 2018 Games with Gold

Xbone:

Super Mega Baseball 2 (no meta yet, first game got a 80)

MGS V (95 meta)

360 BC:

Sega Vintage: Streets of Rage (84 meta)

Vanquish (84 meta)

Gotta day this is the best month I’ve seen out of these services in a long while. All four games are great, assuming SMB is as good as the first. Lock if old.

Well MGS V and Sega Vintage: Streets of Rage have been on game pass before but they both where taken off that.

What's good with GWG as opposed to PS+ games is that you can keep them. They're yours, forever. As long as Microsoft lets you re download them from their servers, you will always have access to them regardless of whether or not you keep shelling out money for XBL.

The selections are usually really good too. This month in particular.

May is worth mostly because of Vanquish.I know there are alot of users here that wont agree with me, but MGS V was such an dissapointment.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

False.

You only get to keep the Xbox 360 games.
Once your Xbox Live! Gold expires, you will not be able to play your Xbox One games until you re-subscribe to the service.

I am of the opposite opinion. Not that it matters much, I don't actually use my Xbox One X for playing games anyway.

That's the first I've heard of that.

Isnt that the norm for these subscription services?Makes no sense for you to keep them if you are not paying for the service.

Indeed. But at-least you get to keep the 360 games.

I am hoping Microsoft actually expands the service and starts offering Original Xbox games though, that would be awesome.

Good month, but this doesn't compare to god-tier last month (assassins creed syndicate/the witness)

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

Keeps me from having to buy the digital version of Vanquish. I can ditch my physical copy, now. Good month for me! Maybe I'll give MGSV a second chance...but probably not.
