The FF7 Remake trilogy is becoming FF13 ALL OVER AGAIN. Ugh...

FFVII remake won't come before 2020, just hope they still release the game this gen and don't go all FFversusXIII-new gen is too near-lets scrap it and restart everything for New gen and name it FFXV again.

Fixed it for you. We'll probably have the full game until 2027 or something like that  and obviously the later parts of the game will be next-gen.

man, wouldn't it have been easier to just remake the graphics of the game and keep the gameplay intact? Maybe add a NG+ so the later materias could get more use and just ship the game. People would be all over that stuff. I'm conflicted because it's cool that Square respects FFVII as something special, but it also seems like they are making things needlessly hard on themselves.

I meant in terms of developing wait time. Where it gets announced, and then we wait another 5 years for it to come out. I know Square Enix isn't special in this case, but they're becoming the worst repeat offenders.
