Elaborate more. Otherwise no one will take you seriously .

I will try to "engage" the community more just to make you happy.

It isn’t about my happiness. You have a habit of posting once and then abandoning ship. Moderators noticed. Users noticed. So, that’s now over.

I've only seen you complain about it. No one has responded or messaged me about it.  I'm a busy man I will try to be responsive as I can I have a life outside of this website.

It seems odd to me that one is required to "engage" when starting a thread. I mean one can say everything one has to say about any given topic in one post. I don't understand the logic behind making an engagement in the thread as a mandatory requirement.

Now don't get me wrong, in actual threads I personally always end up engaging as I think of new things to add to the debate or as I try and debunk attacks, agree or disagree with others etc....

It's just that making it a requirement seems a bit odd.

Perhaps I should ask the question the other way around: What harm is there in starting a topic and not adding any more to it? Especially if the other people keep the thread alive? It's not like your lack of engagement would kill the thread if other people keep it alive.

It is up there, that is for sure. The combat is so satisfying though, I will say nothing beats it in that regard.

For me it tues with...

Breath of the Wild
Xenoblade 2
Bloodborne

Witcher 3

Uncharted 4 is up there as well, but I rank that just beneath GoW and the games listed above.  The important take though is that all of thise games are of different play styles, and excel in their own way.  The title of "best game this gen" is subjective to a number of factors, and while it fits the bill overall for those seeking this type of gameplay, there are others that do as well for their own playstyles.

wow so much contradiction, i mean if it doesnt adhere to your taste, in favor of your beloved franchise its "terrible", and i did play both of them, so by your parameter i found Mario far superior than zelda and sales reflect that, simple as that. maybe next using emoji at the end of the sentences I'll use GIF to signal sarcasm.

Your first sentence if confusing. Nowhere did I make that point. I only said you can weigh them.

So you're actually saying that it was sarcastic because of some dumb :P at the end, yet you reiterate the sales point again. So that part sadly was serious I take it from your comment (sales measuring if a game is better). So you take my parameter, and add your terrible parameter as a reflecting of it. I mean, if I were to post a gif right now, it would be facepalming Picard, but I myself don't want to come off as some sarcastic
user who got caught making a terrible point.

Well then gif it is. And the point that I made was, I prefer Mario over Zelda, so for me GoW is up there with Mario, He pointed out it was opinion , and no where in my reply I refuted his claim with a serious response. But you on the other hand jumped in like a white knight took my response out context ignoring rest of the reply coz it didnt meet your high standard of queens sarcasm and emoji's.

The sales thing was to piss you off, coz there was no argument in the first place, but you made it into one.. and again 9 out of 10 times a better game will always sell more than an inferior game that's how market works and just because your beloved series isn't held on the same pedestal by everyone else as you, doesn't mean that they are wrong.

And also you said "A game can only be better than another if you played them both, and then weigh them against each other"

I have played both Mario and Zelda and currently i am half way through GoW, so by your metric i should be well verse to judge which game is better. And your response was kind of Ironic considering you responded to someone else by saying It was said in jest (I will get GoW eventually of course), but I highly doubt that I will rate it higher than BotW, because I am a huge Zelda fan and BotW is just that good.

well Ironic shouldn't be the word, its other word which starts with "H" but moderators are watching so, I have to play nice :) (its a smiley face)

As an Xbox gamer I finally decided to buy a PS4 Pro and got the God of War bundle  and let me say I was truly amazed at how polished the game is in every respect..  I had never witnessed this much detail in a video game since I played Red Dead Redemption when that first came out.   The graphics are amazing, the story is engaging , the voice acting is splendid, the gameplay mechanics above all is outstanding.  And perhaps I will get a lot of hate for saying this but i truly this game is the best Sony exclusive on the PS4 and yes even better than Uncharted 4 (which i had played at my friend's house).  I am not exageratting when I saw how polished this game is,   as a person who dislikes hack and slash games this game kept me engaged the whole time.  It is truly a masterpiece .

What are your first impressions of the game?

Very good decision, so many Games-Highlights are coming (only) for PlayStation 4.

God of War: Yes, its fantastic, so impressive and wonderful. And the soundtracks, epic. My opinion: This high quality game is for every player in the world!

Every game that comes out that is good is "the best of the gen". People don't understand the idea of context anymore. Give yourself a year to play other games or to simply get away from it and if you STILL feel that way, ok. But making snap judgments? Not the best idea nor accurate.

The world is full of people that spend all their time trying to control other people. It's just the way it is. My advice? Just stop making threads if that's a "rule" around here. I personally didn't know it was frowned upon either but now that I know, I'll make damn sure to no longer make threads.
