Forums - Nintendo Discussion - LABO With Bill Nye!!

That is smart way to advertisement. I would have loved the variety set as a kid. I just do not have the room for it as an adult. (I stopped getting collector editions of games for the same reason).

Fishing looks so relaxing, I hope they have huge variety in that.

BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL!

I love Bill Nye!!

Now I need this!

Switch!!!

I was just about to start this thread lol, they could not have picked a better person to market the Labo! Labo and Bill Nye are such a natural fit.

Seriously, whoever came up with this idea deserves a raise.

Really cute and clever advertising. LABO increasingly seems like a nice bridge between digital and practical, between games and crafts, and, based on this video, between art and science.

If LABO helps kids think about "how things work" and serves as a common middle ground for families, then I'm all for it -- even as the product doesn't really hold my attention.

He did a great job. The product still doesn't look very interesting after you've finished building it but good advertising can mask that.

Nintendo never stops surprising me, what a great idea!

True, because I felt the same about Wii and Wii Sports. Absolute garbage, but the general public ate it up.

Anything but garbage. Wii Sports was a fantastic local multiplayer game. For gamers and non-gamers alike. I might've put 100 hours into Wii Sports. Only people who didn't like it were people that thought they had to conform to some idea of playing "cool" games, which means they aren't real gamers.
