Currently I have my pros and cons. Definitely the graphics is the first thing that pops out at you when you start the game but then again its not like you are playing Farcry 5 where you can basically go anywhere you see. As a 3rd person button masher, there is no peer to GOD on the graphical end. Horizon Zero Dawn and Farcry 5 are my tops for open world graphical games.
The attention to detail is off the charts and the developers put their resources in the right place. You can definitely see that they constructed each area and it pays off.
Gameplay wise, I am not a big fan of the over the shoulder camera. Its good that the boy calls out when enemies go red and about to hit you from your blind spot but as an action button combo masher it cramps my gameplay and movement. The verdict is not yet out until I get further into the game but its not my favorite part of the game so far.
Story is where GOD really shine. Definitely feel like a more grown up GOD game and presentation is on par if not better than the other series. So far, I am enjoying the game and the boy isn't to annoying at the moment. I will be able to put in more work over the weekend and play the hardest mode once I get use to the combat to see how well the combat holds up to some of my stables like Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry etc.
