Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox One is the best console if you don't care about exclusive new games - The Verge

Exclusives is what matters to me and for me Sony exclusives are much better than MS exclusives. I won't spend $500 on xb1 X when the xb1 s didn't meet my needs. A prettier picture quality won't change my mind on xbox. I also don't like MS direction with the game as a service game. For me, it is an excuse to release games incomplete and sell you new content later on.

exclusives are the main reason to buy a console, well in my opinion. So I can't agree with verge on this.

Absolutely agree, just seems a lot wiser to choose a console because of its exclusive content than for instance backwards compatibility

Exactly. Exclusives have always been the make and break for me personally. Entices me to get excited for a specific platform

I buy PC for 3rd party and and exclusives and Japanese niche games on PS4 but i do also play a lot 3rd party games on on PS4. Xbox is good for nostalgia in glorified 4K Xbox 360 and Xbox One games (pun intended ).

Where do I get an Xbox 360 in working condition with controller, HDD and all necessary cables for 20 bucks?

The classified section of your local newspaper or if you have a dedicated trading paper, here in Ireland we have many to choose from but 30 euro for an x360 or ps3 with games seems to be the general vibe here and a xbox is 299.

What a coincidence! In the local newspaper of Widdewiddewieesmirgefällt in Takkatukka it is exactly the opposite:  30 euro for an Xbox One or PS4 with games and 299 for an Xbox360 or PS3.

You can't disprove that anecdote either? What a shame!

PC games launch for 40usd and console for 60usd, so even at launch their are cheaper.

I am looking at Skyrim VR right now on steam for $60.

So you are saying a single game disprove the console launch for 60 and PC for 40?

Except you know for sure that you are lying, but don't know about him... funny yet you already accepted that there is X360 with 10 games being sold for 50 USD.

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

That is basic logic.  One counterexample is enough to disprove a given statement.

Then you should probably buy a few PS4s and XB1s and send them to me, while I will send you these PS3s and 360s for fair value exchange :).

So you should be ashamed... because you were the one that said that console and PC games launch at the same price, so any difference in any launch would make your claim void, right?

Please show an example.

This is almost like asking a mayor of a city if his town is a safe place to live and raise kids in:

You: Mr. Mayor, my family and I are looking for a new town to live it. How safe is it for us to move in and raise a family?

Mayor: As long as you ignore all the murders and violent crime, It's a great place to be.
