Forums - Sony Discussion - Uncharted 4 Sells Through 10 million Copies / Long Live Single Player Games!

Uncharted 4 has now reached 10 million copies sold through- according to VGChartz estimates.

It is now the 6th PS4 game to reach this milestone- joining the likes of Grand Theft Auto V, Call of Duty:  Black Ops III, Call of Duty:  WWII, FIFA 17 and FIFA 18.

Congrats to Naughty Dog for reaching this great milestone!  I expect they might top this achievement once The Last Of Us:  Part II releases.

Horizon:  Zero Dawn had reached 7.6 million copies sold as of February.  Perhaps it too can reach the 10 million mark - especially leading up to the inevitable sequel.

Now with the critically acclaimed God Of War set to release this Friday- I'm guessing it won't be long until it too joins the ranks of these 10+ million seller games - especially if it gets bundled this holiday season with a fresh PS4 price cut.

It looks like single player games aren't going away anytime soon- not if Sony has something to say about it!

PS3 had 8 10m+ sellers.

PS4 already at 6....

Now that is a marathon. I can't wait to see God of War and Horizon join the ranks. I bet Spider-Man gets there too.

Great games deserves great sales, congratulations to Naughty Dog for great game.

Great to hear...well deserved. Damn, I still have to play Lost Legacy!

Several things are done better in Lost Legacy compared to UC4. It is a must play for any uncharted fan.

So 15 million with digital?
Only 33% digital sales is an underestimate, so probably even more.

Predicted 15+ million lifetime-sales for God of War:

Amazing achievement and very deserved Uncharted 4 is a fantastic game.

Congrats! But where did that single player thing came from? It never disappeared

Tell that to MS and EA. Who both believe the single player genre is dead and the future is all about games as a service.

To OP, technically U4 isn't only a single player game though. But congrats to them, though that milestone was reached a while ago considering digital sales which VGC doesn't track. I won't be surprised if Horizon is already there or close too considering digital.
