You didn't like MGS2 post ship? Sure, it was a bit confusing but that's what made the whole game so frigging special as opposed to just a copy/paste sequel.

I liked the game, but i wanted to play as Snake. He looked amazing in PS2 graphics. "Jack" was far from lead material.

I know that in retrospect they changed him in order to actually be interesting. But, at the start he wasn't.

Demos were a thing of magic back with the PS1. The most memorable for me was Resident Evil 2, it was shocking how much better it looked than #1. I also remember the idea of an entire city turning into zombies actually made me a bit sick.
