Based on reviews, this is likely to be the biggest game of the year in terms of review quality, and I truely expect w sony’s Marketing that the game could exceed the above amount of copies.

I think that's a given, I think it can sell 12/14M units by the end of the PS4 lifecycle, even if that is next year

I was skeptical at first.... but yeah I could see it doing 10m+ lifetime sales.

...and even then its probably gonna be a ever green title.
God of War is iconic to playstation, so even at the end of the lifecycle (ps5 release) it wouldnt just stop selling... the really late PS4 buyers, would probably consider getting a god of war game.

I doubt it, unless it is heavily bundled, a la uncharted 4.

Uncharted went from 6.8m on PS3 to 10m on PS4, that's a 47% increase in sales. So I'm going to give that to God of War which puts it at 7m (4.8m was GoW best sales before) and add another 1.5m for the positive buzz around it and settle with 8.5m.

For the record, I wouldn't mind being proved wrong.
