GoW 5 should be coming to PS4, and I could see it managing that coveted 95 this just missed. There's no need for a long dev cycle now that all the foundation has been laid, especially if you keep it on PS4. That should allow for a brisk 2 year gap between the two and hopefully a first half of 2020 release. Otherwise we will probably have to wait 3-4 years while the devs get the hang of PS5, and even then it probably won't live up to the potential it could if they waited until further into the system's life cycle to debut the franchise. GoW 5 on PS4 in q2 2020 and GoW6 on PS5 in q1/q2 2023 sounds like a good plan to me.

Finished the game today and got the platinum with 100% finish. I’d give the game a 95-96 easily. I’ve followed the old Norse ways for years now so was excited to see how accurate they got things is this game and I was really impressed, it’s not 100% but it’s very good.

When the credits rolled I felt I wasn’t finished and really wanted to continue on Kratos and Atreaus journey which shows how much I was enjoying myself throughout the game, the people, the gods throughout the game were great and the environments were awesome. But the star of the game for me was Mimir, ever since he’s introduced he keeps the gamer entertained and with the stories he tells and althoughbive read them before it was great to hear how much research the developers had gone into with the details of the stories (again not 100% perfect but still close) he also injected humour into the game aswell which is never a bad thing.

i really hope they continue on this Norse journey as there are so many gods and people that wasn’t mentioned and we could meet, there are the realms that were closed off and we could go explore. And let’s not forget the “real” ending once you get back home and Thor appears and is clearly ready for revenge for his sons deaths.

Add me if you want but let me know youre from this website

Unless you are a masochist absolutelly don't attempt this on Give me God of War =]
Done 1/3 of the game still on the 1st level equipment... it was a nightmare... and the last Boss I took over 4-6h to kill.
Now need to do the last 2 Valkyries, Queen and the two realms challenge... will took a lot of time.

Good ol' Kratos.

It just can't stop breaking records. Very well deserved

I new no Sony game could reach 95 this gen and yet it made me believe in the end, dammit.
Well, best game this gen, right there with TLoU for the best non-LoD games ever.

There's always TlOU 2, Death stranding and I'm sure ghosts of tsushima could reach it but as TLOU 2 will probably have some political talk around it among smug californian journalists I don't hold much hope there. Ideally Sony would need to put out something that has an entirely family friendly look and feel and then do their magic inside those paramotors. It would take something away from Sony games to do so in my opinion, so lets just be thankful they are fantastic they way they are and Sony are killing it and try not to give a fuck what nostalgic and frankly bad gamers (journalists) manage to score Sony games, let them suck Nintendos joy cons.

We all know Smash Bros will outscore GoW on metacritic with an easy 95 lol.

What does that have to do with what he said?

Nintendo games review better than everything, so unlike Sony their games won't have that 95 barrier.

I still don't get how that is relevant to their discussion. Neither BraLod nor John argued that Nintendo games have a barrier (unless I missed that somewhere).

I thought he was referencing Nintendo at the end, and I filled in the gaps. What do you want from me sir?

He did, but not in that context. What do I want from you? Well, there shouldn't be anything to worry about, should there?

Simple inquiries. ;P

Nothing at all officer, have a nice day :)

What is this God of War you are talking about? It doesn't have MP, everyone already forgot about it.

If you pay attention I have not even written God of War there.

Doesn't deserve to be talked about, needs microtransactions to be relevant.

Where would you put micro-transactions on LoD to improve it?
