I wonder if anyone will top that this year? It'll be quite a challenge... by the time you start getting into the mid 90's any review that isn't absolutely stellar can cost ya a point or two.

Super Smash Bros. for Switch will certainly score over 90%, sell more than God of War and be played for longer periods of time.

No Super Smash Bros. game ever reached 95. So what was the point of bringing this up here, other than to get a rise out of people and derailing the thread?

Sony stays winning. Your move Microsoft.

Dont seem possible at this point. At this time last gen Sony had already made  massive corrections, 1.5 years later they announced the PS4 at the peak of the PS3 turn around.

I think MS believe they can just start fresh next gen and therefor will enter next gen  with this current low/lazy output and people are gonna be excited, and they might be correct.

But i think their best bet is to make corrections now and go into next gen the way sony went into this gen, on a high off PS3, otherwise it might not pay off. Worked for nintendo with the Switch so i could be wrong, but at the same time MS dont have a Mario or Zelda.

Not at all, someone asked which game can potentially top GoW this year.

Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer.

Nah, that wasn't simply an answer. It was a "nanny nanny boo boo" with a tongue sticking out and a "so there!" on top of it. You could've simply kept it at "Smash Bros. will score better" but you went on to say GOW will be forgotten and also bashed Sony for (in your opinion) not making good multiplayer games. Just went a bit over the top with your answer is all.

Smash actually probably won't score better. The highest scoring Smash (brawl) got a 93.

Don't get me wrong, Smash might be my favorite series of all time, and it will a lost certainly score 90+, but I don't think it will be a serious GOTY challenger to GoW.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

My sentiments exactly!

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Almost any Call of Duty will sell more and be played longer, and nobody tried to bring it into the discussion so far.

"A multi-player game will be played longer than a single player game". How surprising. And in other genius news, water is wet!

Call of Duty won't score over 90%.

It's not my problem that Sony seems to struggle at making decent multi-player games. You can brag all you want about God of War, and even diss Microsoft while you're at it, but Smash will still smash God of War.

There’s a word for what you’re doing, but I feel like baseless comments need addressed. The best selling Smash, according to VGC (if you have official sales, by all means share) is Brawl on Wii at 12.91 mil. The next best Smash is on 3ds at 8.13 mil. Then one at 7 mil and from then on they’re at 5 mil or less.

GoW will sell more than 10 mil, and there’s a strong chance it could sell well above that, so what are you basing your statement off of? How much are you thinking Smash for Switch will sell that it will “smash” these numbers?

And since you’re listing MC score as a deciding factor, Smash has never scored above a 93 (Brawl on Wii with 81 reviews). GoW is at 95 (83 reviews).

LMAo, GOW go the fanboys shook. Sell more then GOW is pretty debateable at this point, GOW is going to be huge.

Anyways! That's a crazy score. I'm so over the moon hyped for this game and it needs to be Friday already!

It appears that Sony is more focused on doing than talking. What I really like here is that both the baswe PS4 and the Pro get solid versions. Keep the promises, that is good for a change.
