This proves tge opposite of what you been saying for awhile. Ps4 isnt supply restraint and switch sells almost all what it ships (as it went up this week w/o new releases)

 

You can walk into nearly any store in Japan that sells game systems and they will have the Switch.

3DS was doing much worse than 40k.

It averaged 24k/week from Apr 4-Aug 7.

It shows japan doesn't have intetest in the PS4 if its not to buy it with one big game. Monster hunter didn't help the baseline at all and it got several new releases since then.

Switch has huge titles coming in japan like Yokai watch 4 this summer and rumours of animal crossing. The baseline will finally explode in japan with titles like these. Its not like the Switch really has much big games for Japan if its not Splatoon 2.

Those numbers look dire. Even if PS4 is having stock issues those numbers are not good...

It's kind of expected that it would drop though, I mean everything else dropped it's just the PS4's dropped was the most severe.

If they did not have interest in ps4 then it wouldn't be sold out at major online JP retailers. Interest is clearly there. Stock, however, is not.
