Videogame "Generation" is a technological non-factor on the face of size, tdp and release date. The relevance when it comes to generations is the fact that both are bein sold at abouth the same time. In that sense, both seem pretty good for what they are and offer different advantages, trading of portability and graphical fidelity. |
So one more on the crowd of apologize shortcoming of Switch on it being a portable... but when talking about sales it will be compared as console?

How good are the graphics when you play your XBX at the bus stop? At work? Waiting at the DMV? On a home 1080P TV? |
If you pay 65% more on a product to not receive a substantial improvement, them you aren't really doing a good purchase.
You decide whatever you want to install as screen on your minivan.
So should we also compare how expensive is your Switch game against a cellphone? How much does the battery holds against DS or a cellphone? Oww I forgot, on what Switch underperform as portable, then "but it can play console games and connect to TV".

Well with mods you could put gyro on PC version.
There are buses with Big Screens and you could use it... still, I prefer to play on couch.

Yeah, you would need some bolts and nuts too plus probably a good welding machine.
|
Well, workarounds usually demands some work =p

As mentioned before 9th vs 8th gen, less than 66% more expensive and still X1X put more than 4x better...
And as always Switch defenders sway between console and handheld depending on the convenience.

Agree, a small mobile chip should be at least on par with a true 4k proper home console. Xbox 1 X can be played on the go too, just bring the system with a TV as well as hope for two charge sockets so really no excuse for Switch
|
So one more for the "it's a portable" when shortcomings are presented...

Switch is really a shame system when it have many exclusives, should be like Xbox 1 X where all games are on PC master race as well and can play everywhere, even when we are walking in the park
|
And should someone apologize for X1 saying that it gets more games than Switch so it not having exclusives isn't a problem? Because that is the type of defense being made.
