a lot of people in the past including me said that Sony should take over Insomniac, I mean lets be real they are one of the top 3 indie devs out there. and probably the top 5 biggest. but idk doesn't it seem better for them to operate independent as long as they are successful like this?

they are still very good to us I mean we get ratchet and now spiderman. Sony doesn't have to buy them but they have to keep this relationship 

I think Insomniac is one of the best studios around, and I’d very much like it to keep its independence.

I don’t think there’s any evidence to suggest falling further into Sony’s orbit would mean better software from Insomniac.

A takedown was in the cards in the PS2 days IIRC. Insomniac (Ted Price?) refused it, however.

They'd certainly be better off under Sony's wing, and PS4 owners would be a lot better off too.

I would rather have them stay indipendent. After what happened to Evolution.........if Imsomniac screwed up badly just once, there is a good chance they could get the axe under Sony, like evolution or zipper without getting a second chance.

I don't know why anyone would want Insomniac to be bought by Sony, there is literally no benefit there. It's like if someone tries to say they hope [insert company here] buys PlatinumGames for example, like....why? 

All of their games this gen have been some of my favorites so far: Sunset Overdrive, Ratchet & Clank, and now hopefully Spider-Man is going to be just as amazing as those ones were.
