Forums - Sales Discussion - Firewatch coming to Switch this spring

Firewatch is coming to Switch this spring, developer Campo Santo announced.

Here is an overview of the game, via Campo Santo:

The year is 1989 and you’ve just taken a job deep in the Wyoming wilderness.

Alone for the summer with nothing to do but spot fires, your supervisor Delilah is always just a call away on your radio—and as you’re pulled out of the tower into the dense forest below, she’s your only contact with the world you’ve left behind.

Firewatch is an award-winning first-person narrative adventure available soon for your Nintendo Switch.

Imagine: The sounds of a babbling brook, a cool mountain breeze blowing through the timber. And in your hands, your trusty Nintendo Switch.

This Spring, take your Nintendo Switch on an outdoor adventure and experience the gripping mystery beloved by gamers and critics alike.

Firewatch is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

NIce, never really played it but I keep hearing good things about it. Picking it up for sure.

Not a very demanding game, shouldnt be hard to port over.
It from 2015/2016? and I think its out on like everything.... steam/gog/ps4/xb1/osx/windows ect.

Nice, though I hear the game was disappointing.

GLORIOUS!

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

i never played it, but after watching a play through of it on youtube, i have no desire to. its basically just a walking simulator mixed with a movie. barely any gameplay at all. and while the story itself is amazing, the ending was a bit disappointing.

but seriously, the entirety of the enjoyment you will get out of Firewatch comes from the story, so just go watch a play through of it and save yourself the $20

I played like 30 mins and dropped it... just never really got me going I guess.
All those jokes about walking Simulators... well.. this kinda felt like that.

Sometimes its like that with books and movies too, I wont get hooked early on, and just stop reading/watching.

I thought it would have a few plot twists or build up to a good ending but I heard it does none of that. Guess I could play it and find out but with everyone saying how bad it was makes me not want to. lol

I was dissapointed at first, but when I later played through the whole game I loved it. I think it's great.
