It doesn't really sound that way when you make a one sided thread and then don't elaborate well on the dynamic between the two. Sounds like something you would say when you are cornered and confronted with how ridiculous it is to say a situation is one sided. Like a false admittance to one side also being wrong. You even go as far as to call out the left, but then say just a few sentences earlier that the conflict had nothing to do with politics and was just a personal vendetta. Well, which is it? I respect you John because you seem reasonable, but what does that look like to you?

but on the flip side, you can't say the other side hasnt been scum either

And I don't know why a discussion about decency turned into "leftists", but that's not the barometer for how I measure people's behavior. Nor do I find those kind of blanket statements to be productive in any way in these scenarios.

You're the one who said there's no good reason to make fun of him. I'm pointing out that there are quite a few reasons to make fun of people like him. There are reasons to leave him alone and let him heal, too, but he has decidedly chosen NOT to go that route. If you don't think what he's doing is just more effective bullying, then I'm not sure you understand what bullying is.

Very much agreed. I find it so silly that Hoggs crowd of followers will support him in a personal feud though, scary infact. 

Whats funny they say the kid is ''more adults than adults'' and prop him up and hes free to slander and personally attack someone and hes praised for it. Then when he gets blow back and called out for it, they use the tactic ''HES JUST A KID!''. Well which is it, an activist leading a revolution or ''just a kid''.

 

If you open yourself to that much public discourse, then you're fair game imo.
