Cool, I have remember playing some Jurassic Park tycoon/park sim game with my friend a long time ago. It was fun pushing the limites of what was safe (and crossing the line)

I know I'm going to take at least one map, and act like a total douche by letting the carnivores loose and the herbivorous can sit behind the fence and miss out on all the fun

We used to build mixed cages where there were both carnivores and herbivores, against the reccomendation of the game of course. Granted, they were carnivore only cages after not long but...

these type of games never hold my interest very long. Hope people enjoy it though

Probably the 3 things that bother me about the game are it's DRM, the fact they locked some dinos behind the Deluxe edition, and they said mod support will not be supported right out of the gate. Mod support could either come a few weeks later or months.

I do hope that the devs next game isn't mired by these 3 issues, because that's how slippery slopes begin.

Problems 1 & 3 have the same solution: don't buy it at launch and wait until they're removed/supported.

The second one is more difficult to overcome but, once mods arrive, you'll get lots of more animals .

Deff going to get this after launch. Not impressed with the DRM and locking crap behind various schemes like pre-order bonuses... And it will probably be microtransaction infested anyway.

Hopefully it turns out to be great, absolutely loved Operation Genesis. (Got it on Xbox and PC.)

I'll be waiting on either a GMG deal, or when they add in mod support. I'll also be waiting for the benchmarks, to see how well this runs with the CPU side of things (Like Planet Coaster, that game was CPU intensive, and I imagine this will will be to a small extent as it has to run on console CPU's).

I feel like they pulled the dino content and DRM due to the publisher stepping in.
