It really is amazing. It's the best looking PSVR game and it plays great. It is definitely intense, but they give you a ton of options for making it more comfortable.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Digital foundry just put up an analysis video. Even though they only use the social screen which is disappointing. They should come up with a new way to analyise VR games than this, however it's seems to be great news regardless.

As a whole DF are almost ignoring VR. For instance they didn't do an analysis about Skyrim. Skyrim, big open world game , for the first time at locked 60fps on console + great VR adaptation. Not even a tweet.

But they praised the 30fps Switch port like if it was the second coming. And they are so in awe about any game that outputs at 4K on their beloved Xbox X and it's becoming  ridiculous.

I imagine this should be one of the games that should fully realize their potential in VR: I love Wipeout HD, but god damn it, I don't want to part with my money, even if PSVR got a nice pricedrop recently

I love seeing my good ol WipEout receiving such praise!!! It was ALWAYS great even without VR. The intense feeling of WipEout is pretty much incomparable to anything else out there. It's the WipEout feels!!!

I can only imagine what VR would do to this experience. I always figured that WipEout was made for VR, so yeah....it's probably better than ever now! I seriously gotta try this, at any cost!

PSVR recieved to Killer app updates yesterday. Wipeout VR is a blast, and offers the full Wipeout expereince. And now Gran Turismo Sport is a propper VR title, that you can actually earn Cash and Expereince in to unlock new content, without ever having to play the non VR mode.

If you are a huge fan of Racing or Just love driving around, PSVR is now a must own platform. Between Wipeout, GTS, Driveclub, and Dirt Rally you have a nice selection of next gen racing expereinces, that will blow away anything you have ever expereinced before.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

It's crazy cool indeed, I'm a long time Wipeout fan and this has elevated the gameplay to such a degree that it makes other singleplayer focused, arcade racers look like crap. The Multiplayer is still a little on the limited side, progression wise imo but if it's your thing, now is the time while those servers are hot and ready. Delete your save and start over in VR, like many are saying, it is a dream come true.

Man, I'll take your word for it! I have no doubt it's a dream come true! This game was always meant to be played like this, I'm sure of it. Even back in 1995 I was thinking this because WipEout already had this kinda "feel" to it that is unlike any other racing game I have played. The physics and the dynamics of the airships - it actually truly did feel like you were hovering over the track.

Anyway, so there is a VR update already??? All I gotta do is download it? I already own the Omega Collection. So all I need to do is just purchase the VR?

Also, a VR Arcade DREAMLAND has just opened up in my city here in Ontario, Canada but I think it's focused on shooting with friends. Like, a multiplayer kinda game. What the heck! If you're gonna do something like this, get EVERYONE involved and excited. Let us fly, take us to extraordinary places, get a WipEout like experience....heck, make exploration experiences not just some generic shooter.

Had a look through their stuff. They made it pretty clear they can't judge the actual VR, it's no wonder they don't. Such a pity, I'd love to see some comparisons between 60 to 120 interlooped games and the traditional 30 or 60 fps version.

That's bullshit. Nx Gamer did plenty of detailed VR analysis already.

Fuck! I redownloaded the whole game twice because it didn't start anymore since the VR patch!

I just had to turn off supersampling. Please fix this, Sony!

Now THIS is kinda big for me. Sure, RE 7 was an early standout, but what holds that back from killer app status on a personal level is that I'm a coward. Still hoping L.A. Noire finds a home on PSVR eventually.

Could happen. The Vive exclusivity is over, official Rift support is already here.
