Gangster squad. Fantastic movie, fantastic story, fantastic acting, fantastic action. Yet it rated reallykw somehow and flopped. Even though every one I know who saw the movie (most the times based on my recommendation) really liked it.

Also snatched. Not the amu schumer movie. But the Jason Statham and Brad Pitt movie. It's awesome, funny I'm it's own way with a really gripping story. Also great acting

Foreign movies are often overlooked due to language, I am sure they were decently popular in their own countries though.

Der Untergang. While it is praised, I feel it's not known well enough and it's ridiculous it didn't get the Best Foreign Oscar. Bruno Ganz as Hitler is genuinly terrifying. One of the best acting performances I've ever seen.
