Forums - General Discussion - I've been diagnosed with tinnitus. Yay.

I don't have that (I don't think), but whenever my nose gets even a tiny bit stuffy, by ears will click and pop with any movement of my jaw. It's really maddening when I have a bad cold.

Hmm. That seems like that water drop torture thing where they'll go a bit crazy after a while. Personally, I rather lose hearing in a ear than deal with a ringing noise in that ear for the rest of my life. It irritates me when I hear a ringing noise just for a min.

That's the woman I mentioned. The noise you're hearing is a noise exiting from her ears that she has had for years. Every day. All day long.

There is no known cause or cure.

Yes. That was mine. I still have it but it's low. It's no where near as bad as it was the past week.

I'm starting to believe it has much to do with our vascular system. I know mine spiked because of ototoxicity from my medication. I would rather not get into details but let's just say the medication was not administered as required...

I also noticed laying on my right side where the t was...made it worse. I encourage you to sleep on your back and avoid compromising positions where blood rushes to your head. And drink water.
