Picked up a hitchhiker once in my life, don't see them very often. Quite a few years ago. Said where I was going and he wanted to be dropped off in a village I was passing through. We chatted for a while and there was no bullets flying or stabbing frenzies. No forced detours etc. I think I was just bored at the time.

I've never seen a hitchhiker in my entire life.

If I ever saw one though, I definitely wouldn't give em a ride.

What if it was this girl and she was begging you with puppy eyes?

Add this girl in and he won't be able to resist

I won't pick up hitchhikers. The news, twilight zone and horror films have obliterated my trust in strangers or people in general.

I also won't give money to beggers. Saw a show about professional beggers. If they're really bad off, they can ask for help at a church or become an activist and get a patreon. They would be just holding a different sort of sign.

Hitchhikers, never. People borrowing money, I unfortunately have been a sucker on more than one occasion

I'd probably never pick up a hitchhiker, unless I could tell without reasonable doubt that they aren't gonna kill/rob me.

I try not to give homeless people money, but something in the back of my mind always tells me that they're either going to follow me home or stab me if I don't, so I end up giving them some money, if I have any.
One of the reasons why I don't like leaving home very often...

lol signatues

Never pick anyone up, it will just set them up for danger if it becomes a habit

I never give money to beggars, as it only encourages them into criminal behaviour, most of these people are part of beggar gangs voluntarily or not

No, of course not. That's just inviting yourself to all sorts of trouble. It feels bad to pass on helping people, but I care for my safety.

Though there was one time I was talking to a guy while waiting for a friend and he said if I was hitchhiking, he would offer me a ride. Said I looked like someone trustworthy, haha.

He's dead now, right?

No idea. I never saw him again after that, haha.

Uber destroyed hitchhiking.

I'm a broke college student so I don't got any money to give beggars. Even when I do have pocket change I don't give. Just don't like interacting with them especially the ones who lurk in the subway.
