Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wolfenstein II for Switch to make playable debut at Bethesda Gameplay Day

Finally we'll see some Gameplay Footage.

Bethesda is taking a different approach to PAX East this year. Rather than attending the show directly, the company will host a one-day community event called the “Bethesda Gameplay Day” at Laugh Boston.

Various presentations are planned, and a number of games will be playable. This includes Wolfenstein II on Switch, which will make its playable debut.

Bethesda Gameplay Day will take place on Saturday, April 7 between 1:30 and 9:00 PM ET.

This is the big moment, time to see what the Switch can pull off.

Cool, after playing DOOM & Skyrim on Switch ive become a big fan of Bethesda. Looking forward to this.

I'm fascinated to see how it will run. I hope it runs similar to DOOM, and not worse than it.

Another test that will showcase the power of the Switch.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

"I never got to play it before, so I'm glad they're porting it over!"

I find it amazing where we've ended up. In the past, developers loved to show off how much they could take advantage of a powerhouse PC or brand new gaming console. Nowadays with the Switch, developers love to brag about how much they're able to achieve with a machine that's underpowered compared to the competition. I'm guessing its because they get some sense of pride out of creating a game that runs on a portable device that people could take with them and having the game look and play similar to the more powerful versions. If they can do it, then that is an achievement.

Agree, some devs (in this case Bethesda) want to have some of their games in full handheld mode and to offer some great games in that way also. Also thats win-win situation for devs and consumers.
