Its about how good the engine is, and how smart they devs are at optimisation.

Look at Fortnite on the iPhoneX, thats crazy how good it looks for a mobile game.

This isnt a "switch is more powerfull than people think" moment, its a ARK devs use a bad engine/cant optimis their games thingy.

Fortnite and Ark use the exact same engine.  This is purely a developer thing though I hear they have gotten better at optimizing as time has gone on.

The game doesn't even look all that fun but it has dinosaurs so it is on my radar because of that.

Personally, I find this as really good news as I feel like the type of games that can come out on the Switch is broadening. Now I expect this to run at 5 FPS whenever there is a Dinosaur on the screen because screw optimization.

Edit: Apparently this game runs on 30FPS and might run better than on other consoles. That's is hilarious!
